After Paul and Sheri Deflavio toured the Yankee Barn factory in Grantham, New Hampshire, they made up their minds that a prefab, post and beam house was the way to go for their Vermont ski home. But there is no time to stall construction must start soon if they want to be moved into their new prefab home by wintertime.
The Deflavio HomeWork is just getting started for the Deflavio family. Paul and Sheris two boys need to get on the slopes soon to practice for upcoming competitions. With a three hour drive from their current home in Massachusetts, they leave most of the build in the hands of their hired crew. Hundreds of miles away, they hope prefab can help their builder keep up with their demanding time schedule. Sheri and Paul DeFlavio got what they hoped for! The familys weekend, prefab post and beam home is finished in plenty of time for ski season. With 3,200 square feet of space, it turned out to be a lot of house for just a weekend place. So, the family shifted gears and decided to move in full time. They love the wide open spaces that the post and beam frame allow and the floor to ceiling windows that bring in the views.
