The Dentons faced a harsh Michigan winter and site problems during the build, but the final result was well worth their troubles.
Final ResultsThe Denton’s thousand foot driveway leading to their site posed too difficult for one bulldozer which accidentally dumped nine yards of concrete on their land. They also needed extra trucks to deliver the timber frame kit on-site. But despite these challenges, Shawn and Tricia were able to complete a weather tight shell in less than four days. From dream to drawing to ship kit, the Dentons were able to incorporate the Japanese-style they wanted both inside and out, making their timber frame home very unique. Denton Homestead
