The couple had hopes for a modest one-story cabin, but neighborhood covenants almost put a stop to their simple plans. The house design didn't meet minimum square footage requirements for the area.

A little creative thinking saved the day. Adding a loft was the secret to success! By building a loft, this allowed the Schulzes to meet the minimum square footage requirement and not overspend where they didn't need to.
