While the Papadopoulos family decides if prefab is right for them, John and Cristen Surratt are already firm believers.
Custom HomeThe Surratt family used prefab technology to create a one-of-a kind modular home (figure A). Customizations and upgrades galore make the Surratts home unique. Being first in the neighborhood to build a modular caused some skepticism from the Surratt neighbors (figure B), but worry quickly turned to amazement as the home came together (figure C).
The home is a large, two story with a basement. It came in five modular sections. The house has two different roof pitches to accommodate the large garage at the front. Beginning with the brick face (figure D), upgrades galore exist in this beautiful home. The interior is filled with unique tile floors (figure E), recessed lighting (figure F), solid surface countertops (figure G) and customized windows with crown molding. And yes, it was all installed at the factory!
