Actress Andrea Parker, from the sitcom Less Than Perfect, has traded in her ballet slippers for a handgun. Parker fell in love with the adrenaline rush that comes with shooting when she had to practice using a gun for a television role. She has been hooked on target shooting ever since.
Parker understands that there is a big responsibility that comes with having a hobby that involves guns. She says that a great deal of respect for the weapons you use must always be on your mind. Shooting can be invigorating, but it must be taken seriously. Parker takes to the gun club for the adrenaline rush and, believe it or not, to calm down. She says that shooting is therapeutic for her and gives her a release. Unfortunately, shooting is not so good for Parker’s nails.
