    Installing the Power Amplifier and RF Receiver

    Materials:

    amplifier
    RF receiver
    screws
    cordless drill
    audio cables

    • Since the TV will be encased within the wall, install an amplifier (figure M) to transmit the sound from the TV to the external speakers.

    • First, mount the amplifier to one of the crossbeams in the attic (figure N).

    • Important: Be sure to keep the electronic components off the ceiling and away from the insulation.

    • Right next to the amplifier, mount an RF (radio frequency) receiver for the TV's remote controller. As with the receiver, mount it to the crossbeam (figure O), making sure to keep it away from the ceiling and insulation.

    Important: Follow the manufacturer's instructions to ensure proper configuration of the components and interconnects.
