  • After letting the glue dry, screw the mounting plate to the plywood sheet in the wall (figure G) and mount the TV into place (figure H).

  • Once the wall has been tiled up (figure I), install a splash guard in front of the screen.

  • First, cut a frame sized to fit the opening in the wall (figure J).

  • Apply a bead of clear silicone to adhere the Plexiglas to the frame (figure K).

  • Once dry, push the frame into place (figure L).

    Since the TV is encased within the wall, external speakers will be mounted to provide sound, and the audio signal will be provided to the speakers via a separate power amp. In the next phase of the bathroom upgrade, the power amplifier is installed to round out the bathroom's A/V system.
