    The Musicians' Village is in New Orleans, but the colors
    are mindful of the Caribbean--appropriate for this island
    of optimism. Musician Margie Perez explains, "They gave us
    a choice, and it was just a palette of different colors.
    They made us make two choices in case the person next to us
    chose the same color. When you first come out, you're like,
    'Wow, that's bright.' But then when you think about it, you're
    like, 'This is it. This is right.' We need houses that are
    blue, that just stand up and say, 'Hey, we're rebuilding.
    There's a new day here. There's brightness here.'"
