Just as everyone had hoped, Will stands to see the fish with the help of the support bar.

Much like the in-wall TV, Karl Champley and Larry Schrecker create an in-wall aquarium that Will can see from his bed. Giving a calming effect, it also gives Will incentive to stand and walk along the wall to see his new aquatic friends. This also serves as a viewing window into Will's room as his parents are coming down the hall.
Materials:utility knife 2 x 4 frame studs nail gun nails fish tank acrylic (Plexiglas) molding drill screws hinges aquarium poster (optional)
Steps:1. Start by making a hole in the drywall where you want the aquarium to be with a utility knife. 2. Frame out the hole in the wall using 2 x 4 frame studs and a nail gun (Figure A & B). Be sure to leave an opening to run the electricity through.
3. Place the tank in the opening (Figure C).4. Cover the opening with a sheet of acrylic and secure by nailing it to the frame (Figure D).
5.Use molding to frame out the opening. Screw it into place, so that it can be removed in the event of replacing the acrylic (Figures E & F).
6. For the trim on the other side of the wall, create a top flap with hinges for quick access to the fish and equipment (Figures G & H).
7. An aquarium poster is a fun optional background for the tank.
