    PHOTO

The new tile echoes the 1920s style of the Tampa Theatre.
The curtain rises on this dressing room transformation as Karl Champley and theatre volunteer Renee Dabbs remove the old dirty tiles from the floor followed by laying down new black and white tile panels. And then, with a little help from Roger Frakes of The Beck Group, Renee grouts in the new tile flooring.

    2. Using a chalk line mark out the area that you want to tile (Figure C). Follow the chalk line when laying down the tiles to keep them straight and even.

    3. Use adhesive to stick the new tile to the floor (Figures D & E). There are different adhesives depending on what type of floor you have: backerboard, wood or concrete. Use the adhesive that works for you.
