    Steps:

    1. Choose a power shower product you want to install.

    • Important: When selecting shower elements, keep your budget in mind and make not of the type of pipes you have.

    2. Check up on all local plumbing and building codes. This will ensure that what you plan to install will work for your house and neighborhood.

    3. Wrap all threaded pipes with pipe thread tape (figure A). This will lessen the likelihood of leakage occurring behind your new nozzle.

    4. Install a pipe nipple onto the outlet or tee, and screw it into place (figure B).

    • Note: The nipple needs to be the right size. Otherwise the nozzle will not be flush to the wall. If in doubt, consult your manufacturer’s instructions.

    5. Insert the outer part or the face plate into the rough opening so that it fits loosely in the opening (figure C).

    6. Next, thread the pipe’s adapter onto the nipple using a bit and a socket wrench for a tight fit (figure D).

    • Note: Make sure the face plate is still sitting loosely. If it is tight against the wall, use a longer pipe nipple.

    7. Press the waterway over the adaptor (figure E).

    8. Secure the waterway in place with a screw (figure F). At this point the face plate should be firmly set in place.

    9. Next, attach the spray head facing upward (figure G).

    10. Fasten it to the waterway using a hex wrench and hex screws (figure H).

    • Important: After securing the spray head, make sure it still has mobility.

    11. Place the nozzle membrane on top of the sprayhead (figure I), making sure the membrane is applied evenly over the spray head.

    12. Attach the spray face downward so the ribs on the top of the spray head are exposed.

    • Note: Insert the grooves of the spray face over the ribs of the spray head.

    13. Press the spray face down to cover the spray head then tilt the spray head upward to expose the setscrew holes on the bottom of the spray head.

    14. Use a hex wrench to turn the set screws counterclockwise until they are flush with the edge of the face frame.
