Project: A creative free-for-all using a deck of cards
    Length of competition: 8 hours

    Red Team's Project:

The Red Team constructs a house of cards for children of all ages. The walls are constructed from plywood cut proportionately and painted to look like playing cards. The ends of each wall is connected by dado joints for strength and an authentic look -- instead of hardware. Stools are painted to look like card suite icons, to which playing cards have been affixed.

    Final Score: 287

    Blue Team's Project:

The Blue Team created a dart board using the entire deck of playing cards, then created darts from materials found in the warehouse. The dart board is housed in a large cabinet with trim work that allows the dart board to be attractively and efficiently stored.

    Final Score: 263
