    Project:Display Case

    Length of Competition 8 hours

    Red Team's Project:

Display space and attention to detail are the goals for this display cabinet. A tall case with an arched top is supported by two side tiers of shelves with a large, adjustable shelf centered in the lower front of the cabinet. A crown shaped wood cutout, the bands logo, is centered on the top shelf beneath the arch, and all exposed edges of the cabinet are covered with matching wood veneer.

    Final Score: 293

    Blue Team's Project:

A patriotic theme is the design of this triangular case, which mimics a military flag display case. This large case rests at an angle on three legs. The top shelf is designed to hold a folded American flag, with a display area directly below to hold military coins. Beneath is a trio of triangular trophy cases with red, white and blue tiling on the bottom shelf. Copper accents and soft backlighting complete the details.

    Final Score: 211
