The Blue Team discusses the efficiency of its design with host Ed Del Grande.
    Project: Home Entertainment Center
    Length of Competition 8 hours

    Red Team's Project:

"Bigger is better" is the Red Team’s theme. Its design features a tall central unit -- large enough for a plasma TV -- with hanging, adjustable shelves. Storage cabinets with brushed copper tops flank the center unit. One cabinet features a sink (perfect for easy clean-ups on game day). The top of the cabinet features a dramatic arch with a copper sunburst.

    Final Score: 266

    Blue Team's Project:
An efficient use of space is evident in The Blue Team's design. A creative and practical corner cabinet is the result. Built in two sections, it is easy to move, but sturdy and roomy enough to hold a large TV. Bottom shelving holds video and audio components. In keeping with the triangular theme, creative wire dividers hold video and CD cases.

    Final Score: 187
