    • After two plywood seat tops are cut into sun and moon designs, corner brackets are painted and the desktop is nailed to the cabinets.


    • Two more pieces of plywood are measured and cut for the sides of the desk (figure A) and attached using the nail gun.


    • Faux brick paneling is measured, cut and secured to the top of the countertop over the cabinets, then copper sheeting is added between the brick (figure B).

    • After the rear and right inside of the smaller left-side cabinet is lined with bead board paneling, a shelf is attached to the cabinet.


    • Decorative molding is cut and attach to the corner where the shelf meets the back of the cabinet (figure C).


    • More plywood is cut and attached with a nail gun for the top, middle and bottom shelves (figure D).


    • Two 1 x 2s are measured and cut to trim the edges of the cabinets and the shelves.
