    Red Team Activity Journal (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.)


    • Birch plywood is cut for the bottom part of the armoire and the two side pieces are nailed to the bottom piece.

    • The middle support is added (figure A), followed by the middle shelf divider.


    • The top is nailed into place, and the top and bottom sections are nailed together.


    • Two metal roofing pieces are cut to 56" x 11" and four decorative legs (figure B) are drilled to the bottom of the armoire.


    Blue Team Activity Journal (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.)


    • A jack plane is used to smooth the bottom edges of the small cabinet, then the team adds four bun feet (figure C).


    • Decorative corner pieces are painted black to be used on top of the armoire.


    • Plywood is cut and framed to create a tabletop (figure D) for the small cabinet. The pieces are nailed together, then decorative laminate is used to cover the top surface.
