Red Team Activity Journal (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
- After attaching the support posts, the team attaches and notches decking to fit securely around the posts (figure A).
- The Red Team cuts rafters for the roof and builds the roof frame (figure B ).
Blue Team Activity Journal (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
- The Blue Team constructs the floor frame and adds joists (figure C).
- With the frame and support joists in place, the team adds decking boards and trims them to fit the octagonal frame (figure D).
