Laundry Room Makeover: Storage and Shelf Units Go Up From "Weekend Handyman" episode WKH-307

	that was cluttered, totally disorganized with old appliances.
	And he converted it with newly painted walls and storage bins, ...
	a new decorative concrete floor ...
	and updated plumbing and new appliances that will last for years!

Time: 16 hours over three days.

Creating and Hanging a Shelving and Storage System

1. Check to make sure the floor joists are level.

2. Mark the holes for the screws, and use 2" screws and #12 plastic anchors (figure A) to go into the concrete -- supplied with the system.

3. To set the anchors, drill 1/4" holes with a carbide tip masonry bit, and then tap the anchors into the holes.

4. Screw up the metal shelf hanging system, always checking if they are level (figure B).

5. Assemble the modular cabinets and hang (figure C).

6. Hang any other desired accessory storage items.

In the final segment the plumbing is updated and the appliances are brought in.
