    The Connelly's old hallway lighting fixture did not supply enough light to the entranceway. Hosts Karl Champley and Amy Devers easily install track lighting.

    Materials:

    ladder

    toggle Bolts

    long nose pliers
    self-tapping screws or plugs

    1. Before beginning any type of electrical work, turn off power at circuit breaker.

    2. Remove old fixture. Make sure that wires don't touch as you remove the fixture.

    3. Position track over position of old fixture. Mark mounting holes through the track onto ceiling surface (figure A).

    4. Use a self-tapping screws (figure B) -- which don't require pre-drilled holes -- to mount the track to the ceiling.

    5. Attach jumper wires to house wires in ceiling, then attach jumpers to heart of track (figure C).

    6. Push all wires into ceiling and close up with supplied cover.

    7. Snap lights into place on track (figure D) and add light bulbs.

    8. Turn on breaker and aim lights where desired.
