Carl Battles now applies his skills in precision machining at a downtown machine shop where he helps produce after-market high performance vehicle parts. He continues his education at another local community college studying a new CNC machining program. Some of his fellow rocket enthusiasts were so impressed by his rocket stand that they insisted he construct one for each of them. Carl also finds time to serve as an organizational leader for a local 4H club.
