    A viewer shares an idea for a jig that makes curved cuts in wood.

    This jig uses wiggle board (figure A) to fit into two complimentary pieces of wood. Wiggle Board is 3/16 inch crosscut plywood.

    1. Decide on the shape you want, then mark it out on the board.

    2. Cut out the shape with a jigsw.

    3. Put the template together with screws and wood (figure B).

    4. Fit the wiggle board into the shape (figure C). Then, do a dry run to make sure you have enough pieces of wiggle board and that the shape fits properly.

    5. Glue the pieces of the wiggle board together, then fit into the template shape.

    6. Clamp the wiggle board into the template (figure D).
