A viewer shares an idea for a jig that makes curved cuts in wood.This jig uses wiggle board (figure A) to fit into two complimentary pieces of wood. Wiggle Board is 3/16 inch crosscut plywood.

- Decide on the shape you want, then mark it out on the board.
- Cut out the shape with a jigsw.
- Put the template together with screws and wood (figure B).
- Fit the wiggle board into the shape (figure C). Then, do a dry run to make sure you have enough pieces of wiggle board and that the shape fits properly.
- Glue the pieces of the wiggle board together, then fit into the template shape.
- Clamp the wiggle board into the template (figure D).
