    Amy Devers helps bring order to the wardrobe closet by building cubbies and shelves for organizing the costumes and accessories. Once the wardrobe closets are in order, the ladies paint them theatre black to match the rest of the dressing room.

    Materials:

    lumber
    circular saw
    ruler (or straight edge)
    pencil
    1x pine stock
    miter saw
    nail gun
    adhesive
    trim

    Steps:

    1. First mark your lumber to the desired size of the cubby using a ruler and pencil (Figure A). Use a circular saw to cut your lumber accordingly (Figure B).

    2. Next make ledgers out of 1 by which is pine stock that you can buy and it’s pre-milled ¾" making it easy to cut with a miter saw. Cut the ledger boards accordingly (Figure C). These pieces of wood will create a solid surface on which to attach the shelves.

    3. Using a nail gun, attach the ledger pieces every few inches to the lumber (Figure D) and then attach the shelves using adhesive and the nail gun (Figures E & F).

    4. Attach the other side of the cubby in place (Figures G & H).

    5. Add trim to the edges, secure in closet, and paint (Figure I).
