- High-efficiency air filter - a 4" pleated filter provides particle capture with minimal resistance to airflow. It's electrostatically-charged to capture particles and hold them in. It includes an airwatch indicator that can be placed anywhere in the home to indicate when the filter needs to be changed.
- Ultraviolet Light Treatment - this light bathes the A/C systems's A-coil in ultraviolet light to kill and stop mold growth so it doesn't blow through the system. It's also tied to the air watch indicator to alert homeowners to replacement time.
- Humidifier - A wintertime essential that can help maintain a constant humidity level. (In winter, indoor air can actually be drier than desert air.)
- Energy-recovery ventilator - exchanges stale indoor air for fresh air by taking in air from the outside, changing the temperature and humidity and reintroducing into the home.
- Zoning system - creates temperature differences in different areas of the home. The zoning system actually puts dampers in the HVAC ductwork to control airflow through the home.
- Programmable thermostats - allow homeowners to set temperature for different times of the day to save energy. There are even systems that can be controlled via the Internet.
