Ed explains how to install a macerating system.

Materials:

Screwdriver
Pipe wrench
PVC pipe cutter
Drill with 1" and 3/4" bits
1" hole saw blade
1/2" concrete bit and concrete anchors
1" and 1/2" lag bolts
Reciprocating saw
PVC cleaner
PVC heavy glue
Various 3/4" PVC fittings
Lengths of PVC pipe
1" and 1/2" PVC fittings and pipes
Teflon paste
Soldering kit
Ball valve
1/2" copper fittings and pipe
3/4" PVC ball valve
Macerating system

If you are looking to install a toilet in an area that doesn't have plumbing, you can install a macerating system. The bowl empties through a discharge line (figure A) into a tank. The tank (figure B) houses a pump that macerates the contents from the bowl then pushes them out.

Make sure you have a GFCI outlet, water vent and drain lines near-by in order to use this type of system.
