    Materials:

    Drill and bits
    Various brass nipples couplers and adaptors
    Water filter
    Silicone caulk
    Soldering kit
    3/8 inch and 1/2 inch union
    Steam generator and controls

    1. Place a concrete block into a drip pan, then set the steam generator into position.

      Note: installing a water filter is optional, but recommended to keep debris out of the system.

    2. Once the connections have been made from the filter to the generator, connect the steam line by attaching the female adapter and union to the threaded connection on the generator (figure A).

    3. Attach a 1/2 inch union to the wall inlet, then pipe it to the unit (figure B).

    4. Solder all joints.

    5. When you know that there are no steam leaks, insulate the steam line to prevent burns.

    6. Fill up the water heater by opening the water valves.

    7. Apply silicone caulk to the back of the control panel (figure C), then position on the wall.

      Note: the control panel must be installed away from the steam head.

    8. Plug in the steam generator, then turn it on.

    9. The control panel should light up.

    Tip: wait 24 hours before using the steam system to allow the caulk to dry.
