    A claw-foot tub was very popular years ago, and is now starting to come back into homes today. Its name comes from the claw-like feet holding the tub off the floor.

    Besides the claw-feet, this tub is unique in that all of the plumbing running to the tub is visible. The waterspout is about four to six inches above the tub with the hardware mounting on the inside. The shower curtain hangs from a shower ring that goes around the tub (figure A).
