Ed now explains how to run the water from the pump out of the house.

Materials:

Pressurized fittings
'J' hooks
Corrugated pipe
Hammer or rotary hammer

1. Use pressurized fittings and 1 1/2 inch PVC (figure A) to channel water from the pump and away from the house.

2. Install 'J' hooks (figure B) to hang the PVC from the joists.

3. Make a hole through the outside wall to run the PVC out (figure C).

Tip: if you need to make a hole through a block wall, use a hammer to make the hole. Use a rotary hammer to break through brick.
