    After the unit has been prepped, it's now ready for installation.

    Materials:

    Wrench
    Screwdriver
    Screws
    Wire nuts
    Electrical tape
    'Dishwasher 90'
    Pliers

    1. Thread the drain line into the hole under the sink.

    2. Slide the new dishwasher under the counter top.

    3. Level the countertop by adjusting the height of the legs with a wrench (figure A).

    4. Secure the dishwasher to the counter top with screws.

      Note: verify the power is still off at the breaker.

    5. Re-attach the wires of the same color, then screw on wire nuts and wrap with electrical tape.

    6. Place the copper ground wire under the green-round screw, then tighten down (figure B).

    7. Attach the dishwasher supply line to the 'dishwasher 90', then tighten with a wrench (figure C).

      Note: new dishwashers will include all the parts you need to install with the exception of the 'dishwasher 90'. You'll need to purchase this at your local home improvement store.

    8. Turn on the water under the sink.

    9. Attach the drain line to the plumbing system, then tighten the clamp around the hose (figure D).

    10. Turn the power on at the breaker.
