    This next segment explains how to prepare the new dishwasher for installation.

    1. Take the new dishwasher out of the box and lay it face down so that you can see the back.

    2. Verify that all of the connections are there.

    3. Take the cap off the drain line connection (figure A) at the dishwasher.

      Note: don't be alarmed if water comes out, each unit is tested at the factory before it's shipped.

    4. Attach the drain line to the dishwasher.

    5. Using pliers, crimp the clamp around the hose to secure (figure B).
