    Garbage Disposal System
    After the wiring is hooked up to the garbage disposal, the system is ready to be mounted under the sink and hooked up to drain lines.

    Materials:

    Flat-head and Phillips screwdrivers
    Adjustable Pliers

    Mounting the Disposal System

    1. Lift the disposal system (figure A) and insert the top end of the mounting gasket into the mounting assembly.

    2. Turn the lower mounting ring to the right until the mounting tabs feel snug.

    3. Use adjustable pliers to lock the tabs over the ridges.

    Installing the Drain Lines

    1. Attach the P-trap to the tailpiece and trap arm.

    2. Insert the discharge tube into the 'T' fitting (figure B). Do not fully tighten the slip nut.

    3. Insert the other end of the discharge tube into the disposal system.

    4. Next, use a screwdriver to secure the metal flange using the bolt supplied with your disposal system.

    5. Tighten all of the slip nuts (figure C).

    6. Slide the disposal systems bell over the disposal drain, then clamp it up.

    7. Slide the disposal bell from your dishwasher over the barbed connection on your disposal system.

    8. Using a screwdriver, clamp the fitting securely (figure D).
