    In this segment, Ed explains how to attach the drain line to the utility sink.

    Materials:

    Teflon paste
    Crescent wrench
    Y fitting
    Silicon sealant

    Safety Note: use rubber gloves and safety glasses when gluing and cutting pipe.

    1. Coat the thread of the male adapter with Teflon paste (figure A), then firmly tighten it into the old cleanout threads.

    2. Glue in a new Y fitting with a cleanout.

    3. On the open end of the Y fitting, run your drain line out to the sink area (figure B). Make sure to keep a constant pitch for drainage.

    4. Connect the water lines from the faucet to the water pipes.
