Because painting is seasonal work, Louis Pugliese is "off the ladder" for most of the winter and early spring. In the meantime, he's continued his studies toward a Criminal Justice degree at the local college and worked security for the DA's office. And he also spends a lot of time raising his 17-month-old son. In the summer, Louis will pick up more painting jobs as well as looking for jobs with police departments around the area.
