    Materials:
    Topcoat glaze
    Base coat
    Glazing liquid
    Masking tape
    5 gallon paint bucket
    Paint bucket grid
    Drop cloth
    3" masking paper
    4" chip brush
    2 1/2" angle brush
    9" x 1" nap lambskin roller

    1. Prepare the room by taping the windows, doors and molding with painter's tape. Place a drop cloth on the floor (figure A).


    2. Apply a base coat of paint on the walls, then allow to dry (figure B).


    3. Tape the adjoining wall with masking paper.


    4. Add three parts glaze to one part latex paint to create a topcoat glaze.


    5. Apply glaze topcoat in sections.


    6. Use a dry brush to get a layered crosshatch finish (figure C) by making short strokes vertically, then horizontally.
