    Crackle painted valances
    A crackle technique is applied to the window valances giving them an aged look.

    Materials:

    Spanish sand KM 231 latex eggshell finish paint
    Bravado KM 160 latex eggshell paint
    1" sponge applicator
    2" sponge applicator
    Porcelain crackle glaze
    2" flat brush
    Cloth
    Sponge

    1. Apply a base coat.


    2. Next, paint on a thick layer of crackle glaze.


    3. Once it dries, small cracks will appear (figure A).


    4. Rub paint in the cracks with a rag (figure B).


    5. Use a sponge to wipe away the excess paint.
