    Materials:

    Latex eggshell base coat
    Glazing liquid
    Paint brushes
    Sea sponge

    1. Apply base coat and allow to dry.

    2. Add three parts glaze to one part latex paint to create a top coat glaze. Apply topcoat glaze in sections (figure A).

    3. Before topcoat dries drag a dry brush across the groove of the door (figure B) and flat areas with a slight wiggle.

    4. On the inlay panel of the door go over the wet top coat with a sea sponge (figure C), using a tight twisting motion to create the look of burl wood grain.

    Colors used:

    Soul of the Earth (KM4072-5) latex eggshell for top coat
    Banana Leaf (KM4120-5) latex eggshell for top coat glaze
