    The final touches? A crackle-finish applied to the furniture and a faux-finished ceiling fan (created by "pouncing" wet latex paint applied to the surface).

    Crackled Furniture

    Materials:

    Trisodium Phosphate (TSP)
    Latex primer
    Paint brushes
    Base color
    Craquelure
    Top coat

    1. Clean furniture surface with TSP to remove any grease or residue.

    2. Paint clean, dry surface with latex primer, then apply base color and allow to dry.

    3. Apply Craquelure and allow to dry, then add top coat. Wait for finish to "crackle".
