  • Move It Outside Pt. 4: Hot Tub and Deck
  • Jay Baker and the Move It Outside crew help with the installation of a hot-tub, deck and water diversion system.
    From "Move It Outside"
    episode DMIO-104

Jennifer and Kurt Taser are preparing for a huge family reunion by transforming their backyard into an outdoor oasis with the help of several new outdoor additions, some hard-working contractors and a thousand-gallon tank of propane.

In this installment of Move It Outside, Jennifer, Kurt and several helping hands begin building a low-profile deck to house their new propane-heated hot tub. When their progress is stalled by an enormous rain storm, the Tasers and company seek shelter under their second story deck. As the rain drenches their recently installed outdoor kitchen area, they realize the need for a water diversion system. Thus, Jennifer attaches a lightweight, vinyl product to the deck joists to create a watertight, weatherproof roof, while Kurt and the contractors finish up the hot tub deck and hook-up the hot tub.
