    episode DMIO-101

Since Jennifer and Kurt Taser's house is on a prime piece of property overlooking a lake, it would be the ideal setting for their upcoming annual family reunion. There's just one problem: it's a total disaster inside. Jennifer and Kurt's "fixer-upper" house is still months away from being habitable, but they several relatives arriving in two weeks. They do have an ace in the hole: a beautiful backyard with a large in-ground pool, an oversized deck, a boat dock and a big yard with lush, green grass. Their only option — Move It Outside!

With some significant improvements and a little elbow grease, Jennifer and Kurt will be able to host their family reunion in their soon-to-be-finished outdoor oasis. Luckily, construction coordinator Jay Baker is on site to guide them through the process, hire the necessary contractors and make sure it all happens before the two-week deadline.

In this first installment of DIY's Move It Outside, Jennifer and Kurt begin working on a large outdoor grilling area. In order to stand up to the elements, the all-weather appliances are built into a durable stucco peninsula with granite countertops. Since Jennifer and Kurt intend to run all of their outdoor appliances on propane, they hire a contractor to install a propane tank and run the necessary gas lines to the various appliances. Once the propane tank is installed and the outdoor kitchen is completed, Jennifer, Kurt, and Jay cook up some lunch and enjoy the progress they have made toward their very own outdoor oasis.
