    Materials:

    sanding block
    dust mask
    tack cloth
    painter's tape
    primer

    1. Remove the cabinet doors. Use the sanding block to rough up the surface of the cabinets. Be sure to wear a dust mask.

    2. Wipe down the cabinets with tack cloth to remove any remaining dust.

    3. Apply painter's tape to the edges of the inside of the cabinets to keep them clean.

    4. Apply primer.
