    If a phone line connection or light switch is in the space designated for the oven, you may need to relocate it. The basic steps are outlined below.

    Note: If you're not comfortable with doing electrical work, you may wish to hire a licensed electrician for this job.

    To Relocate the Phone Connection

    Materials:

    screwdriver
    utility knife
    drywall saw
    level
    pencil
    trim ring

    • Safety Alert: Before beginning work, shut off the power to the switch at the main breaker box.

    • Unscrew the mounting plate (figure A) and disconnect the circuit board (figure B) or switch box before cutting a hole in the new location.

    • Trace around the outside and the inside of the trim ring (figure C).

    • Cut along the inner line to ensure a good fit (figure D).

    • Pull the cables through the trim ring before pushing it into the hole (figure E).

    • Screw the trim ring into place.

    • If relocating a phone line, reattach the circuit board then replace the mounting plate. If relocating alight switch, re-connect positive, neutral and ground wire, per electrical standards.

    To Install Motion-Sensor Lighting

    Materials:

    flathead screwdriver
    wire caps
