1. To match the modified cabinet, cut an equal amount off the doors. Set the fence on the table saw to the correct width and make the cut (figure A).

2. Router the lip so the door fits in the cabinet. Set the router to the same depth as the existing lip. Ryan was lucky with the width, the router bit just happened to be the same width that was needed and he used the bit as the guide (figure B).

3. Sand the edge with a sanding block.

4. Put the new hardware on the cabinet doors.

5. Attach the hinges to put the cabinet doors back in place (figure C).

In the last segment, the new appliances are brought in to complete the renovation.
