    Figure C

    1. The cabinets are sturdy but ugly and need an update. They want the kitchen to fit with the rest of the 1914 prairie style house. They decided to go with a blue on the bottom of the cabinets and a cream on the top of the cabinets (figure A).

    2. A quartz product (figure B) will be used for the countertops with white ceramic subway tile for all the backsplashes.

    3. The windows will be retrimmed out to match what is in the house.

    4. The ceiling and carpet will be replaced and a banquette (figure C) built for the corner.

    5. A cabinet will be removed and the refrigerator placed where the cabinet was and then they will have the kitchen triangle --the refrigerator, sink and stove -- which will give them a good working area.

    6. An appliance dolly was used to remove the range, refrigerator and dishwasher.

Note: If you are removing a dishwasher, turn off the water and use a pipe cutter to cut the dishwashers water line.
