1. Once the refrigerator was in place, the compressor had to be mounted. It slides into mounting slots on top of the refrigerator (figure A). The final hookup was left to an electrician.

2. Once the grill was placed on top of the refrigerator they added a final piece of fill stock on top to complete the look of the cabinets (figure B).

3. A plumber and electrician hooked up the dishwasher.

4. The homeowner chose an AGA stove from England that is cast iron (figure C) with six gas burners and four electric ovens!

   FYI: Made in England, the AGA stove has a long colorful history, dating back to the industrial revolution. The original AGA used coal and was designed to stay warm all day long. It was a fixture in many of England's grand manor homes.

The cost of this renovation was approximately $45,000, but the homeowner saved around $7,500 by doing a lot of the work.
