1. Three holes had to be cut -- one for the sprayer, one for the valve and one for the faucet. Lay tape down to protect the surface when you drill and then find the center of the area (figure A) and mark it.

2. Determine the outside edges of the area by using the base of the sprayer as a template (figure B). Find the center between the outside edges.

3. Measure base of the faucet (figure C). Take half of that measurement, mark the tape, and do the same for each hole.

4. Take the tip of the hole saw (figure D) and line it up with the center of the mark and start nice and easy. Don't push too hard, let the drill do the work.

   Tip: A 1-1/4" hole saw was used to accommodate supply line on faucet.

5. Clean everything up and you are ready for the installation. Secure the fixtures to the counter with the washer (figure E) and nut supplied with the faucet

   Note: Steve and Michelle contacted a plumber to hook up the plumbing.

6. The cost to renovate this kitchen into something that would please both Steve and Micelle would have cost approximately $35,000. With Paul's help and guidance, these DIYers were able to cut the cost in half and ended up with a kitchen pleasing to both.
