Installing the Base Cabinets

1. To start the installation of the base cabinets, draw the center line of the window (figure A) and measure away from that line half the width of the sink base. This will be the right edge of the first cabinet.

2. Find the highest point to install the first cabinet, and shim the rest of the cabinets up to that height as you go.

3. Once you make sure the unit is level from front to back as well as side to side, screw the cabinet into the wall (figure B).

4. Before attaching the next cabinet, screw the face frames together, and then attach those cabinets to the wall as well.
