    In this first segment of Pt. 3 of the "Contemporary" kitchen renovation, host Paul Ryan reviews the progress on the contemporary kitchen renovation, and all the cabinet components are checked. Also, the studs on the wall are marked, and the first cabinet is maneuvered into place.

    2x lumber (to build the box beams)

    1. When the cabinets arrive, take an inventory and make sure all the parts are there and intact. Be sure to check off each component from the list (figure A).

    2. To get started with the cabinet installation, the first thing you need to do is to mark the studs on the walls.

    In the next segment, Ryan and the homeowners install the cabinets.
