Golden uses a mix of accessories to tie in the materials in the room (figure A): wood, galvanized pipe, plastics and metallics. The frosted plexiglass piece was designed to be placed over the top of the desk to protect its wood surface (figure B). To protect the computer cables and other cords that may be on the desk, Golden suggests drilling a hole in the back of the desk (figure C) and inserting a metal or plastic grommet into the hole. Also, to organize the clutter most offices seem to attract, Golden creates a simple memo board by removing the glass from a matte black frame (figure D) and adding a piece of galvanized steel. This accessory (figure E) not only brings together some of the room's materials but also serves a useful purpose in organization.
