a cold-water supply (the water pressure must be between 20 and 120 pounds per square inch p.s.i.)
power drill
adjustable wrench
Straight of Phillips blade screwdriver
Notes:
- A cold-water supply is required for automatic icemaker and dispenser operation.
- If there is no cold-water supply, you'll need to provide one.
- Before making the connection to the refrigerator, be sure the refrigerator cord is not plugged into the wall outlet.
- Never move a refrigerator onto its side or back. It should always be upright.
- Pull out the old appliance (figure A).
- Disconnect the power and water (figure B).
- Remove all packaging from the new appliance.
- Make sure the icemaker power switch is set to the O (off) position and then reconnect power and water.
- Slide into place.
- Level the refrigerator by adjusting the rollers located near the bottom hinges. (Turn the roller adjusting screws clockwise to raise the refrigerator and counterclockwise to lower it. Use a 3/8" hex socket or wrench or an adjustable wrench.)
- Level the doors with a 7/16" wrench (right to raise; left to lower).
- Replace the base grille by installing the two Phillips head screws.
Note: Consult your owner's manual on how to hook up the icemaker, if applicable.
