The Jarrell family has asked for help with some updates to their kitchen while Malaya is away on duty in Iraqi. To make the kitchen improvement complete, DIY's Help on the Homefront crew installs a new stove. - Make sure the power is shut off at the breaker.
- Install a stress relief collar at the point of attachment. Then, connect the pigtail wire and cap off the ends or tape them off with electrical tape.
- Install anti-tip devices on the floor using the manufacturer's instructions.
- Add heat resistant tape to the exposed edges of the countertop material (figure A).
