    Materials and tools:

flooring boards made of reclaimed lumber of various species
    construction adhesive
    pneumatic nailer
    pneumatic floor stapler

    1. Measure the width of the cabinetry and the width of the first board to be installed. Add those two measurements together, then measure and mark that distance out from the wall. Snap a chalk line to create the starting line for the floor.

    2. Cut the first board to length. Apply construction adhesive to the subfloor and place the first board. Make sure it is straight on the starting line. Nail the board into place.

    3. Measure and cut the second board, making sure to stagger the seams. Line up the "lip" on the bottom of the floor stapler with the tongue of the board, and staple it in place. Repeat with remaining floor.
